A two-part fete concert was held to raise funds for Diocesan Boys’ School Foundation. First part was held in the afternoon outdoors at the lawn featuring band performances by students, teachers, old boys and friends of DBS. Simple four element compact line array loudspeaker system was ground stacked with a pair of subwoofers per side was used for sound reinforcement for the afternoon mixed with Yamaha M7CL digital console.
The evening gala concert was held in an auditorium, it began with a 100-piece orchestra by the students followed by a series of live band performances showcasing a number of Hong Kong’s top performers and celebrities. JBL AXYS system was deployed for the auditorium for its superior directivity control and acoustic response. Elements of Target U16 was ground stacked on B-215 DIFF subwoofer for front of house ensuring minimal stage noise will reflect back to the main stage. Additionally, units of AXYS Target U-16 were spread out through the auditorium for fills. Yamaha M7CL was used for the front of house mixing and Yamaha CL5 was used for monitor mix. Martin MAC Viper Profile were used also to complete the atmosphere of this evening gala concert.
